"Interpreter of Maladies"
In this lecture, we discussed the Malady of each character in the "Interpreter of Maladies" by Jhumpa Lahiri and their perspectives.
We focused mainly on Mr. Kapasi and Mrs. Das and discussed their Malady and a few common factors within themselves. Post-modernism is not a view or belief accepted by one group or organization, it's the perspective of an individual, as there are no wrong opinions as Professor Brady would say, "There are no wrong answers, only right answers". One thing I learned from this lecture was, the ones with guilt can only achieve happiness by overcoming it through repenting through their actions or words. Once again truth can be painful but a heart that overcomes the lies through truth and pain will value life and happiness in the life.
